Helping children and families prepare confidently for Reception through a structured, emotionally-informed approach to school readiness.

🎓 Year 6 Transition Programme

A research-informed transition day helping pupils prepare for the practical, academic, connection and emotional (PACE) adjustments of secondary school.

Includes:

  • Full-day transition session delivered in school

  • Pupil reflection and preparation activities

  • Evidence-informed transition strategies developed through work with over 4,000 transitioning pupils

👩‍🏫 Staff Training

A twilight or INSET session introducing the Headssup principles and supporting a consistent language around emotional health, physical health, social health, friendship health, gratitude and transition across the school community.

To ensure EYFS materials are available for September entry, implementation discussions are encouraged before the end of June.

Headssup can be delivered across groups of primary schools, secondary schools or mixed-phase trusts using a consistent framework and shared language around school readiness, transition, wellbeing and belonging.
